With the latest product iteration, Custom Markets can now be created and selected in POS Search Visibility. In addition, user experience improvements have been made to make the tool more intuitive and efficient.

Implementation of Custom Markets in POS Search Visibility

The Custom Market widget is now available in POS Search Visibility (see Image 1). This allows you to either select existing Custom Markets or create new ones. As in other submodules of POS Insights, you will also find the “My companies” function here, enabling you to choose your own company or search specifically for other companies using the search field.

By default, the Predefined Market “ATC IH (Insight Health)” is selected, but you can manually reselect it at any time if you have previously chosen a different option.

Once you have selected a market (e.g. All markets, User-defined markets or Companies), the search results will be adjusted in the Search Term Ranking, depending on the selected pharmacy.

What does this mean?

Example 1:

You have selected the Predefined Market “ATC IH (Insight Health)” (see Image 2). On the left side, you will see the Search Term Ranking, which, as usual, displays the top 500 onsite search terms sorted by rank.

After selecting a pharmacy, the Search Term Ranking remains unchanged and continues to display all 500 search terms, regardless of the chosen pharmacy. However, once a specific search term has been selected, the products displayed on the right-hand side will vary depending on the search term and pharmacy selected.

This provides a quick and clear overview of all relevant information, allowing you to analyze search terms and related product data efficiently.

Example 2:

Choose either a Custom Market, your own company, or search for another company using the input field. Then, select a pharmacy.

Unlike Example 1, the Search Term Ranking now displays only the search terms relevant to your selection. The selected market (e.g., Custom Market or company) is linked to the respective pharmacies. This means that while the ranking remains consistent, only the relevant search terms are displayed. Terms that do not match your selection are hidden (see Image 3).

This makes it easy to quickly identify which Search Terms you cover and understand their importance within the overall ranking.
